Velika Planina (Great Plateau) is a place with many wooden huts; there is even a Snowy St. Mary's chapel.

Boiling Sunday afternoon was a forecast of a hot wave. In a house in Ljubljana we slept in a cosy mezzanine. It had only one vice: it's under the roof. Although there is an air condition, the heat was so unbearable that we started to explore the city just after the sunrise.

The title is misleading, because size of the Park and amount of possible routes cause that many days are needed to visit and see everything. Though a route of one-day trip in Julian Alps lets one taste hiking on those paths.
